Free Florida Grand Opera 'First Sing,' Miami-Dade & Broward

Florida Grand Opera opens its 2023-24 season with the FGO Studio First Sing for free with RSVP on Friday, Oct. 20 in Miami-Dade; and Saturday, Oct. 21, in Broward.

It’s your very first opportunity to hear the five FGO artists in their first concert of the 2023–2024 season. Attendees will get to hear powerful performances by soprano Sara Kennedy, mezzo-soprano Taylor-Alexis DuPont, tenor Joseph McBrayer, baritone Joseph Canuto Leon, and bass-baritone Keith Klein.

The 2023 First Sing concert will feature arias and ensembles from Madama Butterfly, Falstaff, Così fan tutte, Susannah, Ernani, and Fidelio, plus a sample of upcoming performances scheduled for Florida Grand Opera's 82^nd mainstage season: La traviata, I pagliacci, and La bohème.
