Free screenings at UM Cosford Cinema

Rene Rodriguez, former film critic for The Miami Herald, now runs the Cosford Cinema on the University of Miami Campus and he's always coming up with some type of innovative film series.

Saturday, April 20 at 8 p.m.
“The Holdovers,” starring Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti, Oscar winner Da'Vine Joy Randolph in Alexander Payne's story about a cranky history professor his student and the cafeteria worker forced to spend the Christmas holidays on campus at a swanky prep school.
 
Monday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Sneak preview screening of “Sing Sing,” the story of an inmate at Sing Sing prison who forms a theatre troupe with his inmates. Starring Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo.
 
Wednesday, April 24 at 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 27 at 8 p.m.
“Wonka,” starring Timothee Chalamet as Wonka in the story about a young and poor boy, Willy Wonka, who dreams of owning a candy factory.
