Free Family Fun Day at HistoryMiami

HistoryMiami museum hosts a free Family Fun Day the second Saturday of every month, with free admission for all. The free admission is all day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with activities taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is required to participate. You can register online.

The theme rotates monthly, usually around either current exhibitions or perhaps a national celebration.

Upcoming themes: 

April 13: Architectural Wonders

Learn about Miami’s unique architectural history with a special tour of the permanent exhibition Tropical Dreams A People’s History of South Florida. Discover some of Miami’s prominent architectural features designed for the city's subtropical weather. Take part in the building blocks station to create your own live-in structure using a variety of materials.

May 11: Asian American & Pacific Island Heritage

Join HistoryMiami Museum, Miami-Dade Public Library System and Miami-Dade County’s Asian American Advisory Board in a celebration of Miami’s cultural diversity featuring Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Enjoy live cultural performances, craft activities and more.
