Free events at Miami Beach Bandshell

The Miami Beach Bandshell is one of the city's busiest venues where free music and dance performances are regularly presented. The open-air location provides a gorgeous snapshot of Miami Beach and is just steps from the water.

Here's what's coming up that's free:

 
North Beach Social: Gilmar Gomes
Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 at 7 p.m.
Performance by the Brazilian percussionist and multi-instrumentalist of music from his new album, with an opening set by the Young Musicians Unite Jazz Ensemble. Gamos has performed with Enrique Iglesias and will be joined on stage by several special guests during the show. Click here to RSVP.
 
 
Ninth Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival
Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 3-10 p.m.
The city's top youth musicians perform on three different stages performing jazz, piano, rock along with vocalists, marching bands and school ensembles. There will also be the Bass Museum's Art Tent, kids yoga and a playground. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Click here to RSVP.
 
 
We Are Family Roller Disco
Saturday, March 29 from 6-10 p.m.
All Skates Go To Heaven host and DJ's Nikita Green and Yung Algebra keep the tunes going for this four-hour skate session. Free skate rentals for Miami Beach residents, $10 for non-residents. Click here to RSVP.
 
ScreenDance Miami Festival
Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 7:30-10 p.m.
Miami Light Project presents a variety of short and feature-length films presenting two films “Beyond the Plaques” from the UK and  “Taylor Mac's 24-Decade History of Popular Music.” Click here for more info.
 
Film Screening “Live to 100: Secrets of the Zones
Monday, Jan. 27 from 6:30-10 p.m.
Screening of the Emmy-award winning docuseries as the City of Miami Beach embarks to be certified as a Blue Zone where citizens live long, healthy, happy lives. Click here for more info.
