Free event: 'Talk' to U.S. founding fathers at History Fort Lauderdale

Using AI technology and historical records, patrons at History Fort Lauderdale are able to ask questions and talk with George Washington and other Founding Fathers. 

The event in 2026 is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, August 2, at History Fort Lauderdale, 231 SW Second Avenue, Fort Lauderdale 33301. 

Entry is free and RSVP online is preferred. Parking is usually about $3 an hour. 

The characters available for questions include Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin and John Hancock.
