Free entry for Plant Affair at Volunteer Park in Plantation

Plantation Historical Society is hosting a  garden show and sale with the delightful name of Plant Affair.

The event in 2024 is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, and entry is free.

The show includes plant vendors, garden art and garden supplies vendors at Volunteer Park, 954-452-2558, 12050 W. Sunrise Blvd., Plantation 33323. Parking is free.

The park also features a farmers market, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, with free entry.

Amenities at Volunteer Park include

  • Playground, fenced with Everglades theme and 7 play areas
  • Wetlands trail
  • Basketball courts, tennis courts
