Free entry for cricket live broadcast in Lauderhill with food trucks

The Broward Parks and Recreation Department is offering free entry to a live broadcast of a global sporting tournament. d 

The free fan area, which is featured 7 p.m. – about 12 a.m. Wednesday,  June 12, includes entertainment, food trucks and a kids zone.  The match between West Indies and New Zealand is displayed on a Jumbotron.

The tournament

The fan area and some of the live games are at Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, which is one of the venues for the mens Cricket World Cup.  Tickets for the live events in the stadium are about $60 to $500.
