Entry is free for ArtLit, a popular family event featuring art activities and performances.
ArtLit in 2025 is 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 8, in Coconut Creek.
The event emphasizes art and literature. This year, there will be a special focus on Chinese culture. That will include exploration of this year's NEA Big Read book selection, To Live by Yu Hua, and Director's Book Club January 2025 selection, Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See.

ArtLit 2025 will include:
- Traditional Chinese music by Echoes of Nature
- Games: Ping pong and mahjong
- Crafts: Scroll painting, paper folding
- Demonstrations: Pottery, Chinese dance
- Live visual art experience
- Writing workshop
- Asian art exhibit
- Kids' facepainting, crafts and activities
- Book discussions
