Oakland Park is presenting a lively Dancing In The Street block party with art, food trucks, live music and a kids' zone with a DJ.
Dancing in The Street in 2026 is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, March 27, at 4000 n. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park.

The event also will include Stilt Walkers, Miss Wendy’s Dance Studio, Xochipili Mexican Folklore Dancers, Sankofa’s Child West African Dancers and a 360 Photo Booth.
Main Street (Northeast 12th Avenue) will be closed to cars between Oakland Park Boulevard and Northeast 37th Street from 9 a.m. Friday to 12 a.m. Saturday. A free trolley will provide shuttle service from designated parking areas to businesses along Main Street on Friday from noon to to 5:30 p.m.
