The Miami Beach Bandshell is one of the city's busiest venues where free music and dance performances are regularly presented. The open-air location provides a gorgeous snapshot of Miami Beach and is just steps from the water.

Here's what's coming up that's free:

La Perla with opening set by DJ Achiote
Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Three drum witches from Bogota, La Perla is a one-of-a-kind percussion and vocal trio of three of Bogota's top young musicians, whose powerful lyrics and beloved rhythms – classic bullerengue, cumbia, merengue, gaita, and kreyol champeta — are accompanied by a dose of punk rock attitude. Guitars Over Guns North Dade Spring Showcase
Friday, May 10, 2024 at 6-9 p.m.
Performance featuring students from Citrus Grove K-8 Center, Georgia Jones-Ayers Middle School, North Miami Middle School, North Miami Senior High School, Linda Lentin K-8 Center, Lake Stevens Middle School, North County K-8 Center, Carol City Middle School and Miami Carol City Senior High School. North Beach Social: French Horn Collective
Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 8 p.m.
The seven-piece band, led by trumpeter Vincent Raffard, will play original tunes and classics from their gypsy jazz repertoire. Click here for free RSVP.
 
Viva The Flashmob

A multicultural, immersive Dance Class-Performance inspired by the Mestizaje of the Americas.  Learn dance routines and songs from America Viva The Show such as Flamenco, Salsa, Afro-Caribbean, led by professional performers, instructors, and students from America Viva The Class, New Land Dance Company, Festival Flamencas USA, Luna Cale, Gitanillas Studio, CAM Dance Company, Show Me Your World, and Carreño Music. Etienne Charles' Creole Soul at Fete de la Musique
Friday, June 21, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Jazz master Etienne Charles is an artist who searches for untold stories and sounds to tell via his lush trumpet sound, varied compositional textures and pulsating percussive grooves. His Creole Soul project is his deep dive into the pan-Caribbean interconnected musical forms. Fête de la Musique is the annual global day of music, originally begun in Paris, to welcome summer with free music. Click here for free RSVP.
 
North Beach Social: Jacuzzi Boys
Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Local trio will perform music from their four full-length albums as well as from their EPs “Dipped” and “Glue.” They've toured with the likes of Iggy Pop, Black Lips, Vampire Weekend and King Khan and the Shrines. Click here for free RSVP.
