Free, wacky King Mango Strut Parade in Coconut Grove

The wacky 41st King Mango Strut Parade, known for being a spoof of the year's craziest, most outrageous headlines, of which there are plenty in Miami, weaves through the streets of Downtown Coconut Grove on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at 2 p.m.

Watch as marching groups, homemade floats and makeshift mascots parade down Main Highway. The 2025 theme is “Peace. Love. Mangoes,” in keeping with the parade's reputation as a tongue-in-cheek, satirical affair.

In year's past there have been…

  • The Marching Freds
  • The Million Chad March
  • Cuban Eye for the Gringo Guy
  • Weapons of Mass Distraction
  • The League of Dead Voters

You get the gist. Come early because the streets fill up quickly. Grab a front row spot and you just might get plucked out of the crowd! Paid street and lot parking is recommended.
