Eating out in restaurants, or getting treats like ice cream or coffee, is one of the joys in life. Many restaurants and snack shops regularly run specials to lure you in the door. We try to find those for you.
We found these new food deals:
$1.99 kids’ meals at Red Robin
School’s out and it’s the “Summer of YUMMM” at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers & Brews. To celebrate the end of another school year, the family-friendly restaurant is offering entrées from its Kid’s Menu for $1.99 every Wednesday throughout the summer.
Kids (11 and under) will receive their favorite Kids Menu entrée, alongside Bottomless beverages and sides, including steak fries, broccoli, apples, Mandarin oranges and more.
The menu includes Red’s Burger, Swirly Twirly Pasta, M.V.P. Pizza and more. For a full review of its Kids Menu, click here.
The offer is valid for dine-in only through August 29 at participating locations, with purchase of an adult entrée. Limit three kid’s entrées per adult.
Reb Lobster adds early dining specials
Red Lobster just introduced early dining specials — perfect for those who prefer their savings (and seafood) during the day. Even better, the offers are a permanent fixture on its menu, not for-a-limited-time.
The daily deals are valid only Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m , so plan accordingly. (The only exception is the Tuesday deal, which is available all day.)
Red Lobster is often the restaurant destination for special occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. Thanks to these daylight deals, friends and family might consider organizing a daytime gathering and use the extra savings on a gift.
Endless Shrimp Monday: Mix-and-match Shrimp Scampi, Fried Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp Skewer endlessly for just $15.
To Go Tuesday: Enjoy your seafood favorites from the comfort of your home or office with 15% offonline to-go orders – all day long. Place your order at RedLobsterToGo.com using promo code TUESDAY.
Four-Course Wednesday: Get Red Lobster’s famous 4-Course Feast, with soup, salad, entrée and dessert for only $15.
Petite Ultimate Feast Thursday: Smaller portions, but just as “ultimate.” Dive into a petite Maine lobster tail, wild-caught snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi and Walt’s Favorite Shrimp for just $20.
Fish Fry Friday – Celebrate the start of the weekend with Fish Fry Friday for $10
Applebee’s $12.99 all-you-can-eat riblets and chicken
You’re sure to get your fill of savings with this deal from Applebee’s.
Through Aug. 12, the neighborhood grill is serving up two All-You-Can-Eat options (served with a side of endless fries, too!) — each $12.99 at participating locations. Price may vary by location.
The two dishes are slow-cooked pork riblets and breaded chicken tenders — both served with fries and coleslaw.
Refills are not full plates, just smaller portions. However, it is all you can eat, so you’re not being shortchanged. If you’re still hungry, just order more.
They’re also offering a mix-and-match option, for those who just can’t decide between riblets or tenders. Pace yourself and don’t overeat.
Arby’s offers small Coke float for $1
Arby’s chain just made a major change at all of its locations — they switched from Pepsi to Coca-Cola products.
To highlight the new beverage selections, they’re offering a small Coke float for just $1 at participating locations — all month long in July.
If you’re hungry, add one its specials to your order, including its 2 for $6 Bacon Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwiches.
Free Bloomin’ Onion at Outback
If Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 4 Ford Fusion, finishes in the top 10 in a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race, you get a free Bloomin’ Onion® appetizer with any purchase the Monday immediately following the race. Just say “Bloomin’ Monday” to your server. Limit one per table. For locations, click here. Offer subject to change.
Sonic shakes for 50% off
SONIC Drive-In is “shaking” up late nights again by bringing back one of its most popular deals. The burger chain’s daily half-price Happy Hour on drinks and slushes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. does not include shakes.
However, if you’re willing to wait a few hours, enjoy an even sweeter offer. For a limited time, after 8 p.m., all shakes, floats and ice cream slushes are 50% off. (The promo typically ends around Labor Day.)
Choose from many sweet, delicious flavors. SONIC’s shake menu is divided it into two types — Classic Shakes and Master Shakes. The latter are slightly higher in price because of additional ingredients. Each shake is topped with whipped cream and a cherry, of course.
Discount scoop at Baskin-Robbins on the 31st of each month
Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, continues its cool “Celebrate 31” promotion, celebrating more than 70 years of scooping the sweet stuff.
On the 31st of every month in 2017 and 2018, enjoy a single scoop of ice cream (in a cup or cone) for $1.50 at participating locations. (Waffle cones and toppings are extra.)
The popular ice cream shop will serve up the sweet deal on the 31st of each month through the end of the year — mark your calendars for January, March, May, July, August, October and December.
