Tradewinds Park in northwest Broward features an educational farm with sheep, goats, and other animals.
Farm tours are usually offered on weekends for $3 a person. Entry is free for ages 1 and younger. Entry for Tradewinds Park on weekends and holidays is a separate fee, $3 per vehicle for up to 8 people and $20 for vehicles with at least 9 people.
On tour, depending on the day, participants likely are offered opportunities to pet the animals and snap photos.

Farm tours usually are 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on weekends, and it's a good idea to phone ahead to ensure the farm is open the day you want to attend.
Entry to Tradewinds Park is free on weekdays. The entry fee is valid weekends and holidays.
