Put on your dancing shoes. Swing Out, South Florida offers dance lessons and dance socials in Fort Lauderdale.
The events, usually every other Wednesday, include a lesson at 7:450 p.m. and a dance event at 8:30 p.m. with a DJ playing Swing and Jazz. Entry fee is $10 for adults and $6 for students. The event brings together dancers from teens to retirees, who dance to jazz, swing and other vintage styles.
The upcoming events in 2026 include January 7 and 21; February 4 and 18; March 4 and 18; April 1, 5 and 29; May 13 and 27; June 10 and 24; July 8 and 22; August 5 and 19; September 2, 16 and 30; October 14 and 28; November 11 and 25 and December 9 and 23. The “taster” lessons and social dances are usually every other Wednesday night.
The venue is Lauderdale Tennis Club, 600 Tennis Club Drive, Fort Lauderdale 33311.
