Swamp Tromp: Guided wet hike

Take a walk on the wild side during this hike through the cypress swamp. Be prepared to get wet and muddy! This hike is on a rugged trail that requires stepping over and ducking under vegetation and other obstacles. Expect knee-deep water levels.

Guided Wet Hiking Tour

Dates: Sunday, April 16 and April 23
Time: 10-11:30 a.m.
*Check in at the Nature Center 15 minutes prior to program start time.
Where: Grassy Waters Preserve, 8264 Northlake Blvd., West Palm Beach, Florida 33412
Ages: 8 and over (with participating adult)
Cost: 
$10 adult, $5 child
Be Prepared:
Wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and muddy. Shoes should fit tightly enough not to be pulled off by the mud (water shoes or old sneakers are best).  Bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, towel, and change of clothes.

Reservations required, space is limited.  Please call the Nature Center to reserve a spot. 561-804-4985.
