Open Mic
No event October 10 due to weather
7 p.m. to- 9 p.m. second Thursdays are open mic events for a variety of talent types. Entry is free for performers and $5 for others.

Model Train Show
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, October 12 Old Davie School Historical Museum, 6550 Griffin Road, Davie. Entry is $7 and free for kids 12 and younger.
Step Back in Time Halloween version
The event is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. October 19 features washing laundry in the Pioneer Village and making orange juice in a 1940s packing house.
The fee is $15 with discounts for college students and teachers.

- Mrs. Claus Christmas 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. December $5 entry day. Includes letters to Santa. Stories are 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. with Mrs. Claus.
- Summerween is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August with discounted entry fee of $5. The event includes games, treats and tour of the historical displays.
- Apache Dragon band featured outdoors. Feel free to bring blankets or portable seats. Entry and parking are free.
