Free movie preview: ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’

Readers of South Florida on the Cheap have a chance to attend a free advance screening of “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera,” which opens in theaters January 10, 2025. There is talk that a few of the stars may even show up for the South Florida screening.

“Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” is a sequel to the 2018 action-height movie “Den of Thieves.”

Here is the description of the film:

Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. return in the sequel to 2018’s “Den of Thieves.” In “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera,” Big Nick (Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (Jackson), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange.

The film is rated R.

Free advance screening is:

  • Monday, December 16, at Silversport Cinema in downtown Miami, at 7:30 p.m.

Here's the trailer, if you'd like to know more about the film.

Here is how to get free passes to “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera”:

You will need to create a Lionsgate account to download the passes if you don't have one already.

The number of passes are limited. Getting a pass doesn't guarantee seating.

It's smart to arrive early. Sneak previews are often overbooked to ensure a full house, so you must arrive early and prepared to wait in line. Seating is not guaranteed, just because you have a pass in hand. (By the way, movie studios also reserve seats for the press and VIPs. That’s why you see all of those seats with tape across them at every screening.)
