Locos Por Juana, Electric Piquete, and Mr. PAUER. Locos Por Juana is a bilingual band, recognized for their high energy performances and fusion of reggae, funk, cumbia, salsa, and rock. Electric Piquete is a Latin funk / fusion band from Miami best known for its fiery originals & inventive interpretations of Latin and jazz standards. Mr. PAUER rounds things out by spinning his signature “Electrópico”, an electronic dance music mix of genres originating between the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn.
Saturday, Aug. 12, 7-9 p.m.
Collins Plaza, 2200 Liberty Ave.
Performance by Javier Garcia. Born in Spain to a Cuban father and Irish mother, Javier Garcia is a composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer who performs in the realms of funk, reggae, world, funk, and Cuban rhythms.

Normandy Fountain Plaza, 7802 Rue Vendome
Performance by Gafieira Rio Miami, an 11-piece Brazilian big band created by Diogo Brown. Gafieira Rio Miami fuses samba, jazz and soul inspired by the joyous, 20th century Rio de Janeiro ballroom dance music known as “samba de gafieira”.

Normandy Fountain Plaza, 7802 Rue Vendome
Performance Anibal Berraute who through his organic and uncertain improvisational approach, coupled with individual virtuosity delivers an exciting experience of tango fusion that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
