Science is not only cool, it’s awesome. And the 250,000-square-foot Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami is a campus for interactive science learning that not only houses extraordinary exhibits, but also a world-class aquarium and planetarium. It dominates four acres in downtown Miami’s waterfront area.
The buildings themselves are innovative achievements that capture the best of architecture, design, technology, engineering and sustainability. The expansive Frost Science complex can take visitors on a journey from the bottom of the ocean, through the Everglades, and even from the inner workings of the human cell to outer space.

Following is a brief synopsis of what the exhaustive structures, programs and exhibits have to offer, albeit a mere glimpse of what's in store for visitors.
The iconic 500,000-gallon Gulf Stream exhibit is a masterpiece of living science. The three-level aquarium carries guests from the surface to the depths of South Florida's crucial aquatic ecosystems and beyond, from Gulf Stream sharks to tiny organisms that live within coral.

What could be cooler than rocking out under the Frost Science Museum's 67-foot domed planetarium with a spectacular laser show synchronized to music from The Beatles, Bob Marley or Bad Bunny to Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson? Laser evening shows electrify different themes each month.

Laser show admission includes laser glasses, but does not include admission to the museum. Admission to the museum is NOT required to see your laser show; ticketing is separate.
Please note: Laser shows contain bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort to those with light sensitivity or other pre-existing conditions.
There are extensive permanent and rotating displays, plus special traveling exhibitions that explore the science behind ecosystems, the human body and mind, the adventure of flight and the frontier of innovation and technology.
One recent addition is The Dig, a paleontology exhibition, focuses on fossilized remains of prehistoric creatures.

Ticketing
Laser Evening tickets are $15 per adult and $12 per child ages 4-11.
General Admission ticket prices range from $22.95 to $29.95. This all-in-one Explorer ticket includes museum exhibitions, aquarium, and one Frost Planetarium show. Prices may vary, depending on the day of your visit.
Discounts: First responders, active U.S. military and veterans with proper ID get free admission to the museum. Seniors (62+) with ID receive a $5 discount on Explorer Tickets. Please contact info@frostscience.org if you have any questions about discounts and special offers.

Parking
Onsite parking is available in the museum garage is an $18 flat rate before 6 p.m.; for evening shows and programs, an $8 flat rate starts at 6 p.m. All cars must exit the garage by midnight.
