India Independence Day Festival in Fort Lauderdale

For a taste of India in Fort Lauderdale, the India Independence Day Festival includes entertainment, food and things to do for kids.

Shop from vendors featuring apparel, jewelry and henna designs. Delight in dancing and other live performances representing different regions of India.

India Independence Day Festival in 2025 is 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, August 17, and entry is free.

The festival is at Broward Center, 201 SW Fifth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale 33312. It‘s  presented by The Association of Indians in America Florida chapter.

Parking fees are 

• $3 or $4 an hour
• $15 for garage 
• $30 for valet parking
