HistoryMiami museum hosts a free Family Fun Day the second Saturday of every month, with free admission for all. The free admission is all day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with activities taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is required to participate. You can register online.
The theme rotates monthly, usually around either current exhibitions or perhaps a national celebration.

June 14, 2025: Celebrating Juneteenth
Learn about Miami’s vibrant Black History with a special highlights tour of the permanent exhibit Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida. Watch a video presentation showcasing stories from Black Miami featuring local storytellers, make Kente-inspired jewelry and participate in the creation of a community mural.
