If football isn't your thing perhaps you'd rather spend your Sunday evening at the theater. That's the night GableStage is offering half-off admission to their current production “Ordinary Americans.”
The play by Joseph McDonough is set in the early 1950s and tells the story of Gertrude Berg and Philip Loeb the stars of the groundbreaking television show “The Goldbergs.” It depicts their struggle to save their careers, their show and their friendship in the midst of McCarthyism, anti-semitism and political climate of the country.
