Summer Celebration with Cuban singer MayLu

The Miami Beach Bandshell is one of the city's busiest venues where free music and dance performances are regularly presented. The open-air location provides a gorgeous snapshot of Miami Beach and is just steps from the water.

Summer Celebration
Thursday, June 5, 7-10 p.m.
Performance by the Cuban singer and dancer Maylu with several special guests. RSVP here. 

 
North Beach Social: “Summer of Soul” Screening
Thursday, June 19, 8-10 p.m.
Academy Award-winning documentary by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson on summer of 1969 six-week Harlem Cultural Festival. RSVP here. 
 
 
4th of July and Labor Day Roller Disco
Friday, July 4 and Sunday, Aug. 31 from 5-9 p.m.
Spend the afternoon rollerskating to fun tunes from the Club Box Deck. Bring your skates or rent them for a fee. Rentals are complimentary for Miami Beach residents with ID. RSVP here as soon as possible as these events sell out quickly.
 
North Beach Social: Raven & The Dark Shadows
Thursday, July 17, 7:30-10 p.m.
Legendary Miami runner Robert “Raven” Kraft, known for running eight miles along Miami Beach and seeing every sunset for the last five decades, is also a musician and performs with his group. Miami Beach native, singer/songwriter Julia Bhatt opens. RSVP here.
 
North Beach Social: Diego Melgar
Thursday, Oct. 16, 8-10 p.m.
Guitarist/composer performs an eclectic blend of jazz, R&B, gospel, electronic and ambient music combined with choreography and immersive visuals. He will be joined by his ensemble group Swamp Lily. RSVP here.

Indian-fusion ensemble led by tabla master Rajesh Bhandari with Pratyush Goberdhan on violin, Kanada Naharari on sitar and Keshav Nelavai on mridangam. RSVP here.
 
North Beach Social: Sonora Tukukuy
Thursday, Dec. 18, 8-10 p.m.
Allapattah-based cumbia group is made up of Miami's popular Latin Funk rock group veterans. RSVP here.
