The Juneteenth Experience

The Miami Beach Bandshell is one of the city's busiest venues where free music and dance performances are regularly presented. The open-air location provides a gorgeous snapshot of Miami Beach and is just steps from the water.

Performance by the hip hop trio who have collaborated with Cee-lo Green, Kendrick Lamar, Murs and Ace Hood. Limit four tickets per person. RSVP here.
 
 
Miami City Ballet Presents: Next Stage
Tuesday, April 21, 7-10 p.m.
A reimagined pop-up series spotlighting emerging choreographers within Miami City Ballet featuring short modern, contemporary and classical dance pieces. Post-show Q&A with Miami City Ballet Artistic Director Gonzalo Garcia. RSVP here.
 
“The Last Ones” film screening and Q&A
Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m.
Villa Albertine Miami and the Consulate General of France in Miami are hosting a special evening in honor of the last survivors of the Holocaust with the screening of “The Last Ones,” by filmmaker Leslie Gelrubin Benitah, followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Dr Leslie Benitah. RSVP here.
 
La Hora de Dormir
Sunday, May 17, 6-7 p.m.
Part of the Miami Beach Arts in the Parks Series, Simbio Art Camp presents a Spanish-language play that features songs, dance, acting and clowning and is appropriate for children ages 3-8. RSVP here.
 
Miami Soundspace
Thursday, May 21, 8-10 p.m.
Performance by the community choir collective Miami Sound Choir led by Choir Master Laurah Mersier. The collective includes Miami Sound Choir, The Bluebirds, Threshold Singers and Lullaby & Life. Six ticket limit per person. RSVP here.

The Juneteenth Experience
Friday, June 19, 8-11 p.m.
The Sixth Edition of this event will begin with short films by local filmmakers rooted in Black history plus, a multifaceted performance featuring music by Hued Songs, dances choreographed by Gentry George, spoken word by writer Arsimmer McCoy and immersive multimedia by visual artist Russell Watson. Two ticket limit per person. RSVP here.
