Youth Day Parade & festivites in Oakland Park

It's a parade! Youth Day Parade in Oakland Park includes not only a parade, but other free festivities, including rides and live entertainment. The 2026 theme is Cartoon Carnival. Costumes are encouraged.

Oakland Park Youth Day Parade in 2026 is March 7, starting at Jaco Pastorius Park, then moving south on Dixie Highway, west on Northeast 38th Street, north on Northeast Fifth Avenue to Wimberly Field, 4000 NE Third Avenue, Oakland Park 33334. Applications to participate in the parade are due March 2, 2026.

Entry is free entry for the parade and festivities. The parade starts at 10 a.m. Festivities at Wimberly Field are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with live music, food vendors and rides. Wristbands for rides are $15 prior to event and $20 at the event.

  • Free parking in area
  • Shuttles from City Hall, 3650 NE 12th Avenue, Oakland Park 33334

Discount wristbands are available at these locations for $15 (cash only) through March 8:

  • Collins Community Center, 3900 NE Third Ave.
  • Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library, 1298 NE 37th St.
  • Oakland Park City Hall, 3650 NE 12th Ave.
