For Earth Day, Sunrise is offering a free festival with entertainment, eco-art projects, and eco games.
Earth Day festival in 2026 is 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18 with educational and interactive displays. At 12:15 is a workshop on protecting butterflies.
Bring reusable water bottles and use water stations at the festival. Food trucks offer flavorful bites for purchase.
Feel free to bring blankets and lawn seats. Lawn games are part of the festivities.
Residents of parts of Broward who receive water from Sunrise utilities are eligible for a free tree.
The festival is at Sunrise Amphitheater, 10610 W Oakland Park Boulevard 33351. Parking is free.
