Trumpeter Charles Lazaru, a member of the Minnesota Orchestra who has performed with brass ensembles Canadian Brass, Dallas Brass, and Meridian Arts Ensemble, is joined by organist David Cherwien, a nationally known conductor and composer who serves as Cantor at Mount Olive Lutheran Church (Minneapolis) and has led the National Lutheran Choir as artistic director, for the performance.

They will perform a program featuring duo versions of Steve Heitzeg’s crossover concerto American Nomad as well as selections from their Modern Hymn Project.
