Butterfly Festival Coconut Creek with rides, bands and fireworks

Rides. Live music from regional bands. Those and other enticing features are part of the Butterfly Festival in Coconut Creek.

The Butterfly Festival in 2026 is 2 p.m. to to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, February 28, and entry is free. Wristbands for rides are free for Coconut Creek residents. The fee for rides is $20 for non-residents.

The event includes:

  • business expo with vendors 
  • food for purchase
  • live entertainment
  • police K9 demonstrations
  • local and regional performers
  • fireworks display 
  • free airbrush tattoos

The festival is at Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39th Ave., which does not offer vehicle parking. Free shuttle service is offered 1:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from Butterfly Parking Lot, 5550 NW 40th Street, Coconut Creek. A bike valet station is at Sabal Pines Park.
