1:30-2:30 p.m. Heritage Wall by Connecting Mind
A hands-on arts and storytelling experience celebrating creativity, culture, and connection led by Laura Speiran of Connecting Minds Miami. Participants will join the Leaves of Culture workshop — inspired by messages of peace and friendship created by young people in Northern Ireland. Each child will select one of these symbolic leaves, reflect on its message, and paint their own wooden leaf with a personal drawing or message in response that will form part of a six-foot Unity Tree inside the Museum. Also, explore Mind Gallery AI, an interactive storytelling platform and transform your reflection into AI-generated art and short stories.
The event also highlights the inspiring work of Eco Planet Earth, represented by Nalisa Saati (Program Director) and Tomeka Napper (Board Member).
