Easter Eggstravaganza in Miramar

Egg hunts for kids and other family events for Easter and Spring are offered throughout Broward County. Often an Easter Bunny (or Peter Rabbit or Spring Bunny) is on site. Some events offer activities, including bounce houses, petting farms and rides. In Tamarac and some other towns, egg hunts are offered in pools. Pompano Beach offers a flashlight egg hunt in the evening. In Hollywood, the event includes thousands of  marshmallows dropped from a helicopter.

Lots of events in Broward are open to the public and offered for free, or are relatively inexpensive. Some events are for residents of the town only. A few events require registration.

For egg hunts, it's usually recommended you arrive early and bring your own bag to gather the treats.
