Art Deco Sustainability Tour

Earth Day 2026 is officially on April 22 and since that's a Wednesday, many of the Miami-Dade events celebrating Mother Earth are happening before and after then.

Here are events we have found around Miami honoring Earth Day:

Events on Saturday, April 18:

Adventure Day – Earth Month Celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fruit & Spice Park, 24801 SW 187 Ave., Homestead
Hands-on kids' activities, learning stations, guided garden tours and photo opps. $5 for kids 12 and up, $3 for kids ages 11 and under. Click here for info.

Miami Waterkeeper Earth Day Bash 2026 from 9 a.m. to noon
Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, 4020 Virginia Beach Dr., Miami
Native planting with Frost MUVE, marine debris cleanup, interactive art activations and booths from more than 15 community organizations. Click here to register.

2026 Green Day Street Fair from 3:30-8:30 p.m.
Downtown Miami Shores on NE 2 Ave. between 96 and 99 St.
Earth Day event featuring eco vendors like Bound by Beauty Project and Flora of Miami Garden Center, a Sky Zone Kids Zone and music by groups Cortadito and Orquesta de Reciclados de Cateura plus DJs Deja Vu and Mojody. Click here for info.

Events on Sunday, April 19:

Earth Day at NoBe Garden from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
North Beach Community Garden, 7398-7342 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Neighborhood clean up, storytime, kids craft collective and art making, and snacks. Cleanup materials including buckets, gloves, pick up sticks and trash bags will be provided. Click here for info.

Events on Wednesday, April 22:

Doral Earth Day Celebration from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Doral Glades Park, 7600 NW 98 Pl., Doral 
Event includes an official proclamation honoring Earth Day, a hands-on “cooking with your garden” class, and nature craft and planting stations. There will be a butterfly release that requires a ticket. Click here for info and to reserve a ticket.

Events on Thursday, April 23:

Earth Week Miami from 4-9 p.m.
Earth ‘n Us Farm, 7630 NE 1 Ave., Miami
Visit the two-acre urban farm and animal sanctuary dedicated to preservation and education in the Little River neighborhood for an afternoon of Reiki healing, a Cocoa ceremony, fire pit concert, yoga, sound healing/sound bath and art exhibition. Click here for info.

Art Deco Sustainability Tour from 10 a.m. to noon
Wolfsonian-FIU Museum, 1001 Washington Ave., Miami Beach
Tour led by Art Deco expert George Neary of Tours ‘R' Us exploring the iconic Art Deco style and how it's reimagining can be used to address contemporary eco and sustainability challenges. Click here to RSVP.

Earth Day Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Free native and fruit trees, Earth Day-themed kids' activities, giveaways, electronic and hazardous waste recycling. Click here to register.

NoMI Earth Day Eco Village from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Alfred S. Besade Park, 11825 NE 19 Dr., North Miami
Recycling and eco activities, hands-on learning for families, kids crafts and awareness activities, earn a NoMi Earth Keeper badge. Click here for info.

City of North Miami District 4 Earth Day Cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon
Ben Franklin Park, 13400 NW 12 Ave., North Miami
Clean up at the park plus electronic and hazardous waste recycling services. Click here for info.

Earth Day at Crandon Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
6747 Crandon Blvd., Key Biscayne

Volunteer effort to protect and preserve coastal and sand dune habitats by planting native species, removing invasive species, collecting microplastics and marine debris and cleaning up litter and debris. Click here to register.

Events on Sunday, April 26:

4th Annual CLEO Race for our Future Earth Day 5K with 6:30 a.m. registration and 7:30 a.m. start time at The Underline Brickell Station, 800 SW 1 Ave., Miami
Hosted by the CLEO Institute, a run/walk to help coral reefs and Biscayne Bay. Event also includes a post-race awards ceremony with music and an interactive Eco-Village. Click here to register.

The ECO Swap “Reuse & Recycle” from 4-8 p.m.
Normandy Fountain, 7802 Rue Vendome, Miami Beach
Event hosted by Normandy Fountain Business Association, The ECO Channel, The Things Lab, Bibi Art Media, and BitBasel where you can bring your pre-loved items in good and working condition. Click here to see full list of what is acceptable.
