Free blanket bingo in Sunrise

Sunrise Parks & recreation department offers an outdoor event space Village Art Plaza that is packed with sculptures and other vibrant outdoor art displays.

Entry for many events is free. Parking is free.

Village Art Plaza is at 2260 NW 68th Ave., Sunrise 33313.

Events in 2026 at Village Art Plaza include

Food Trucks

Food trucks are at the plaza 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. first Fridays with entertainment. Entry is free for Village Art Bites.

Farmers market

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. second Saturdays is a farmers market with artisan vendors, and usually other events, including bingo with prizes, yoga, and rock painting for youngsters. Entertainment is often featured.

Yoga

Yoga is usually offered 6:30 p.m. Mondays, verify  information is on the website when you want to attend.

Fitness

6 p.m. Second Thursdays and last Thursdays low-impact fitness, verify information on the website.

Bingo

Free Bingo is usually 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. third Sundays and entry is free. Verify online

Festivities

Art of the Season Festival 

Line dancing, artists and other vendors, and food trucks are feature at the festival 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday, December 13 at Village Art Plaza. Other features include an Ugly Sweater event and art projects. Entry is free.  

5 p.m. – 9 p.m. March 29

The event includes art activities and artists, live painting, entertainment, and prizes. Food trucks offer refreshments for purchase. Entry is free.
