The open-air CityPlace Doral has a couple of weekly events that are geared to music lovers and to shoppers of handcrafted items.

Saturday, Oct. 19 from 2-7 p.m.: Kiddo-Ween Halloween Party annual event presented by Kiddos Magazine with trick-or-treating, spooky decor, train rides and plenty of photo opportunities both fall and Halloween-themed.
Saturday, Nov. 2 from 6-9 p.m.: Day of the Dead Celebration a family event with the traditional sugar skull and marigold decor, folkloric dancers, stilt walkers, mariachis, costumed characters, live performances and face painting.

Every Saturday from 6-9 p.m. head to the plaza for live music by a rotating group of bands. Each week, local musicians perform live top 40, Latin and retro hits. The Live Music on the Plaza series runs through May 25.
Then every Sunday from 2-10 p.m. enjoy Market on the Plaza. Stroll and shop from local vendors selling handmade goods sweet treats, street food, and more. The market is located at the Fountain Plaza and runs through Dec. 29.
