The Superhero Bash

The open-air CityPlace Doral has a couple of weekly events that are geared to music lovers and to shoppers of handcrafted items.

And here are some special events coming up:

Saturday, Nov. 1 from 6-9 p.m. special Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) with a processional by folkloric dancers, stilt walkers, mariachis and an oversized calavera and Catrina puppets, all honoring the Mexican tradition. There will also be face paintings, food samplings from CityPlace's restaurants and a special tribute to Mexican singer Juan Gabriel by comedian Rafael Leidenz. Attendees are encouraged to come in Day of the Dead costumes.

And here's the entertainment line-up for Saturdays from 7-10 p.m. through Dec. 27, 2025:

October:

  • Oct. 25 – Live performance by Vicentt 

November:

  • Nov. 8 – Bingo dance party with live DJ 
  • Nov. 15 . – Una Rumba Loca – interactive games and dance party
  • Nov. 22 – Live music by Mambo duet Los del Mambo
  • Nov. 29 – Noche de Despecho karaoke night

December:

  • Dec. 6 – Noche de gaitas Venezolanas by Pentagrama
  • Dec. 13 – Hora Loca Dance party with Omar Gonzalez
  • Dec. 20 – Una Rumba Loca –  interactive games and dance party
  • Dec. 27 – Battle of the Sexes game night and dance party

Every Saturday from 6-9 p.m. head to the plaza for live music by a rotating group of bands. Each week, local musicians perform live top 40, Latin and retro hits.

 

Then every Sunday from 2-10 p.m. enjoy Market on the Plaza. Stroll and shop from local vendors selling handmade goods sweet treats, street food, and more. The market is located at the Fountain Plaza and runs through Dec. 29.
