Diwali Festival in Fort Lauderdale

South Florida offers events with vibrant Indian entertainment and activities for Diwali, a lively festival of Lights in India. Some local events are free. Fees apply for others, and deals are also offered.

Diwali events are happening in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Diwali events in 2023

Fort Lauderdale

Diwali festival of lights in 2023 is from noon to 10 p.m. on November 18 and includes displays, entertainment and vendors. The selection of items for purchase include jewelry, apparel and Indian foods. Entertainment features hundreds of kids, teens and adults performing Indian folk and Bollywood dances.

Prior to the event, tickets are $12 online. At the event, it's $15.

This Diwali festival is at the Broward Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale 33316.  For parking, the fee is $15.

Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale

Entry is free for Diwali festival 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. November 3, at Las Olas Oceanside Park, or LOOP, 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale 33316. The event includes vendors, dance performances and other live entertainment, and food for purchase. Parking fees at Fort Lauderdale beach are usually $4 an hour.

West Palm Beach

Diwali Festival of Lights event 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. November  4 at The Square, 700 S. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach. Entry is free. The event is presented by Rohi's Readery and The Square, shopping, dining and entertainment hub. Learn about traditions of the holiday through cultural entertainment including live music, dance performances, and making garlands.


Diwali Festival of Lights is 5-10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, with tickets online. The price is $28.52, including fee and taxes. The festival is at 2300 N. Miami Ave., Miami.
