Back-to-school Party in the Park, Wellington

Get ready to party for one last blast before heading back to the classroom. Event features displays by local law enforcement and fire rescue, vendors and exhibits and maybe even some freebies!

The Village of Wellington invites members of the community to attend a Back-to-School “Party in the Park,” offering free family-friendly fun and activities.

  • When: Friday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Where: Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd.
  • Cost: It's free!

    This event is sponsored by the Christopher Aguirre Memorial Foundation and is hosted in partnership with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR).

Activities include:

  • Bounce Houses
  • Costumed character entertainment
  • DJ music and dancing
  • Face painting
  • Food trucks
  • Prize wheel – win free back-to-school supplies!
  • Touch-a-Truck with PBSO and PBCFR
  • Trackless train
