Driveway Friday, Acoustic Cafe concerts in Deerfield Beach

The Deerfield Beach Historical Society hosts outdoor Driveway Friday Concert Series once a month (more or less) at the Museum and Cultural Center. It also hosts indoor Acoustic Cafe concerts at the same venue, but inside.

Both sets of concerts feature local performers. Admission is $10. The event is 6 to 9 p.m. (outside) or 7 to 10 p.m. (inside).

Here is the upcoming schedule:

• Friday, Sept. 18: Acoustic Cafe (inside) featuring Steve Minotti with Brian & Brian of Upright Hootenanny, performing songs of Bob Dylan and John Prine. At 6 p.m., there will be a viewing of the film "Deerfield Days," as well as a silent auction. The music is from 7 to 10 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 13.
• Friday, Jan. 8
• Friday, March 12
• Friday, May 14

The center occasionally hosts other concerts and music events as well.
