Broward Women’s Chorus concert discount and free concert

The Broward Women's Chorus is performing a series of holiday concerts called “Holiday Melodies,” featuring well-known holiday music. 
 
The chorus, made up of women from throughout Broward County, is directed by Birgit Djupedal, a career opera singer and voice teacher. Professional pianist Carolyn Morgan is the accompanist. The group has been performing in South Florida for 53 years.

The concerts will feature songs celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, winter and more. 
 
You have three opportunities to hear this concert:
  • Thursday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at the BCC/North Regional Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Blvd, Coconut Creek, FL 33066. This abbreviated version of the concert is free.
  • Sunday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. at Sunshine Cathedral, 1480 SW 9th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315. This will be our main gala concert, with percussion and more. Admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You can buy tickets here.
  • Sunday, Dec. 21, at 4 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living, 4849 N Dixie Hwy, Oakland Park, FL 33334. Tickets will be $45 in advance and $45 at the door and will go on sale soon.
