Broward regional parks waive entry fees on week days including Earth Day

For folks who want to relish the outdoors, parks in South Florida are ideal.

Several Broward regional parks that usually require an entry fee on weekends and holidays are free on week days and some holidays. Weekend fees are $3 per vehicle for up to eight people and $20 for at least 9 people. Regional Parks include these and plenty of others

Some Broward parks and natural areas always offer free entry.

For folks who want to enhance their park excursion, participating Broward libraries loan bird-watching backpacks, which include binoculars. For borrowing backpacks, you'll need a library number, which is free for eligible residents. Phone your favorite library and inquire if backpacks are available.
