Meal deals for military and veterans on Veterans Day

Here's a sample list of some local eateries offering special deals and free stuff for active-duty military and veterans on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025. Participating establishments normally honor offers for members in uniform, with a valid military I.D. or discharge papers, in-store only.

If you see a promotion for a Veterans Day discount, be sure to ask.

Applebee’s

On Nov. 11, veterans and active service members can enjoy a FREE meal from a select menu at Applebee’s.

Choose from one of the following entrées: Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, 6 oz. Top Sirloin, Chicken Tenders Platters, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad or Three-Cheese Chicken Penne.

Denny’s
