The Lawn at CityPlace will once again be the gathering place for a free evening of celebration to honor the history, culture and contributions of African Diasporic communities through art, music, and interactive experiences.
- What: Black History Month Celebration
- When: Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, from 5 to 10 p.m.
- Where: The Lawn at CityPlace, 700 S. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33401
This year’s festivities include the following:
- 5-6 p.m.: Storytime & Crafts with Rohi’s Readery, a local, social justice-driven bookstore and learning center.
- 5-8 p.m.: Vinyl Listening Lounge at Herman Miller, featuring a curated music selection inspired by Black history, in partnership with FLAVAR Co.
- 5-8 p.m.: Screenprinting Workshop with Rich Aybar, sculptor, furniture designer, and New Wave Artist in Residence.
- 6-10 p.m.: Live Jazz, Soul & Funk on the CityPlace Lawn, curated by Salon B & FLAVAR Co.
