Youth Music Festival, Miami Gardens

More than 600 students from 12 schools in Miami Gardens will perform a variety of music live at the fifth annual Youth Music Festival, a free community event.

When: Saturday, February 28, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Where: Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199th St., Miami Gardens

Event will feature:

• Live performances by students from more than 20 local schools and organizations.
• Interactive experiences.
• Food vendors.
