Head over to The Miami Flea in the A+E District from 4 to 8 pm every third Sunday for a social atmosphere where artisans network and collaborate with local coffee and beverage shops, restaurants, entrepreneurs and creative souls. More than 100 vendors will be on hand.
Feb. 18: Local Love Edition: This month’s edition of the Miami Flea puts a spotlight on homegrown talent. The special “local love” installment of the open-air event will feature countless offerings from resident artists, craftspeople and food vendors, as well as live shows by area musicians, including Lone Wolf OMB, Elastic Bond, and The Polar Boys. Grab a plate of gourmet delights in the Grub Garden or a cocktail at Mac’s Pub. For the little ones, the Kids’ Corner is always a hotspot for craft-making, face-painting and more. Still looking for a belated Valentine’s Day gift? With his typewriter at the ready, The Biscayne Poet will be onsite to draft an improvised poem at your request.
Swing by and enjoy the local community with pop-ups galore. Ride your bike or take transit, and stop by the kid’s corner by Little Creative Souls for some creative crafts, and face painting. Check out the amazing creations of local artists, adopt a puppy, or get your hands henna-fied. There will be vintage treasures, vinyl, and more thrift finds that every before.
They’ll curate a “Grub Garden” featuring the city’s best eateries and local delicacies. Park your bike at the bike valet and laze the day away with your furry friends in our dog-friendly hangs. Of course, enjoy refreshing craft brews and hand-crafted sips as usual.
Local bands will be performing throughout the day.
