Learn how to protect your child from drowning at the 11th Annual Summer Safety Splash event at South Dade Park Aquatic Center on May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
Presented by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the Trauma Services Department at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, the event is open to the public and will provide parents and children with resources on swimming lessons, water and child safety and much more.
Free admission and parking.

Water activities for children ages one and above
Rescue and water safety demonstrations
Free bicycle helmets (with fittings) while supplies last
Poison Prevention
