There is no escaping Miami’s reality this time of year: It’s summer, it’s hot, and it’s going to be hot and humid all day, every day, for another few months. But there are ways to beat the heat.
One of the most obvious, of course, is to jump into the ocean from the beaches that line our shores. But we found a few other options, from diving into the cool, spring-fed Venetian pool to ice skating to going to a “dive-in” movies.
See all the suggestions we shared with our friends at CubeSmart for staying cool in the Miami summer.
Miami on the Cheap has partnered with CubeSmart, a national self-storage company with a number of locations in South Florida, from Miami to Broward to West Palm Beach, to provide content for its City Moving Guide for Miami.
As CubeSmart’s City Guide Expert for Miami, I’ll be sharing insights on Miami from the perspective of a South Florida local. Each month, I’ll share a new article aimed at introducing newcomers to Miami, that special place we all call home. If you’ve got ideas for what to tell newcomers, email me at teresa@miamionthecheap.com.
Disclosure: I’ve partnered with CubeSmart as the company’s local expert in Miami. Articles are written by me and are my opinion.
