Sheriff Animal Farm in Key West offers free entry days

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office uses space at its Headquarters Complex to house rescued farm animals and they open it up twice a month, on the second and fourth Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the public to visit.

At the Monroe County Sheriff’s Animal Farm visitors can see horses, a cow, pigs, goats, bunnies, alligators, tropical birds, sloths, a lemur, a skunk, an opossum, tortoises, turtles and snakes.

They often have new additions at the farm including alpacas and a toucan.

The farm is located at 5501 College Road., Key West 33040. Call 305-293-7300 for more info. Admission is free.
