It’s National Margarita Day! Enjoy deals & specials

Though many things have changed, many things remain the same. And every February, we get National Margarita Day … a chance to celebrate the scrumptious cocktail!

On Feb. 22, places throughout Miami are offering deals, so you can savor that mix of tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice and toast to better things ahead.

Keep checking this list, because we will add more deals as we find them!

Of course, you can always raise a glass to National Margarita Day at home, too. And, if you do, there’s no better place to start than Jose Cuervo. The legendary tequila is the key ingredient from basic margaritas to more tropical versions. The distillery makes it easy for at-home bartenders by offering lots of tips for making the ultimate margaritas, including recipes.

The restaurant is known for its monthly $5 margarita special. For February, Chili’s Margarita of the Month is the Grand Romance ‘Rita — made with premium ingredients, including Grand Marnier, Lunazul Tequila and Monin Pomegranate. The lovely margarita is available for just $5, all month long. Thirsty bargain hunters might consider combining the drink special with chain’s popular Meal For 2 deal — an appetizer, two (2) full-sized entrées and a dessert for just $25. Add a few drinks to the meal and you definitely have a frugal feast. Or swing by your local Chili’s to see if they are running any happy hours specials on margaritas; the deals vary by location.

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville:
1111 N. Ocean Drive, Hollywood

If there’s any place on Earth that should be celebrating National Margarita Day, it’s definitely Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. Yes, technicially, South Florida’s sole location is a bit north from Miami, in Hollywood, but that wouldn’t deter true Parrotheads. So if you’re a fan – of Jimmy Buffett, of Margaritas, or both – enjoy the day in style with traditional Margaritas for $6.99 each.
