Ice cream freebies at newest Morelia Gourmet Paletas

With no signs of slowing down its presence in South Florida, Morelia Paletas is having another grand opening.

Set for Saturday, Sept. 26, the event will be giving away paletas from 1 p.m. until as late 9 p.m. (or until they run out).

The new location, the chain’s eighth in in this region, is at 3437 Main Highway in Coconut Grove.

Click here to download the app for your free paleta that day. The offer is good for one paleta per customer and in-store only. Face coverings and social distancing will be required.

The popular and decadent popsicles are made in 16 flavors that you can customize to your taste. Choices include pistachio, mango, Oreo cookies, Belgian chocolate and banana/Nutella. Try one with the chain’s signature S’mores or waffle toppings.

Organizers expect to give away more than 1,000 paletas, so get there early – they will go quickly!

To attend, you must RSVP here via the official Eventbrite page.
