Coral Gables Art Cinema – Now open for in-person viewing, with social distancing guidelines in place and face coverings required. You can also still rent films in their Virtual Screening Room, watch classic films in all genres for free through their Gables Cinema Drive-In and all types of children and family movies also free via subscription. O Cinema – Now housed in an iconic Miami Beach building, this local darling of indie films features an eclectic mix of relevant films for all types of audiences, always featuring award-winners and cult classics available for $12. They’re also including free art film screenings in collaboration with various arts organizations around Miami. Click on the link for details.
Tower Theater – Little Havana’s theater is open for in-person screenings with social distancing guidelines in place and face coverings required. They are showcasing a nice mix of documentary, comedy and other award-winning selections.
Filmgate Miami – The local organization that showcases films by local writers, producers and directors is showcasing films, bootcamps and more on its YouTube channel. It also has an extensive list of resources for artists on the website.
