Miami-Dade County beaches are open, with rules to follow UPDATED

We’ve had to wait longer than everyone else in South Florida, but Miami-Dade County beaches are open.

You can grab your towel, sunscreen, umbrella and all the essentials and welcome summer. But please keep in mind: The safety protocols in place are extensive. For your safety, and that of others, make sure you click here to read the full list before heading out.

Some of the most important rules to remember:

  • Only groups of 10 or less people are allowed, and all must live in the same household.
  • No canopies or tents allowed.
  • No dogs or other pets allowed.
  • A facial covering is a must in case social distancing isn’t possible.
