We’ve had to wait longer than everyone else in South Florida, but Miami-Dade County beaches are open. Beaches however, will be temporarily closed from July 3-July 6 to avoid crowds during Fourth of July weekend. They will reopen on July 7.
You can grab your towel, sunscreen, umbrella and all the essentials and welcome summer. But please keep in mind: The safety protocols in place are extensive. For your safety, and that of others, make sure you click here to read the full list before heading out.
