It’s official: Florida Supercon will not take place this year.
The annual pop culture convention at the Miami Beach Convention Center was originally scheduled for May but later postponed until July 4th weekend.
Now, the event’s organizers, ReedPOP (producers of pop culture events), have announced the next edition will take place in 2021.

A statement on the website reads: “As we’ve always said — you, our fans, and everyone who helps us build this incredible event from exhibitors to creators, are what makes Florida Supercon so special. The safety of everyone at our shows is our absolute priority and comes first before all else.”
Through the years, Supercon has evolved into an annual three-day convention that celebrates comic books, animation, cartoons, anime, video games, cosplay, fantasy, sci-fi and more.
If you had already purchased a Florida Supercon 2020 ticket, you will automatically receive a refund, without any necessary action required on your part. Organizers say it could take up to 30 business days for processing, however.
